CURLING – 2018-19 Clubs Contacts

This winter season there will be four curling clubs around the province. If you or someone you know would be interested we have listed the location and person to contact.

The season goes from Sept/Oct to the middle/end of March depending on the club. Also depending on the club you may need to pay a membership or registration fee. All Blind and Vision Impaired individuals are welcome, we will teach beginners who want to try the sport and have never curled before.

Once again this year BC is sending two teams to the National Low Vision and Blind National Championships in Ottawa, February of 2019. Our friends from Kelowna Blind Curling are returning as Team Canada, as the defending Champs and a team from the Vancouver Blind Curling Club qualified to go out of the Provincial Play Downs last January.
This January the Provincials will be hosted by 100 Mile House on Jan 10th to 13th, 2019.
The 47th annual Western Blind Curling Championships will be hosted by BC in Kamloops on March 20th to 23rd, 2019. this competition is made up of two teams from each of the four Western Provinces. For more information please contact Fraser Hiltz at fraserhiltz@gmail.com
