VOLUNTEERS WANTED – GIFTWRAPPING AT TSAWWASSEN MILLS MALL 2024
We are excited to be invited back to Tsawwassen Mills Mall for the 2024 holiday season. BC Blind Sports will again be providing gift wrapping services to raise funds for our programs.
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers and invite you to join in to help us raise funds to support our sport and recreation programming for individuals who are blind, partially sighted, and deaf blind.
We will operate the community kiosk gift wrapping booth at Tsawwassen Mills Mall with the support of volunteers. Volunteers are supervised by staff and key volunteers of BC Blind Sports.
Volunteer shifts are 4 hours each and we need 3 to 5 volunteers per shift. We will operate from November 28th to December 24th.
LOCATION – Gift Wrapping Services (exact location in the mall TBD)
Tsawwassen Mills Centre at 5000 Canoe Pass Way, Tsawwassen
DUTIES INCLUDE – Customer service, wrapping presents, tracking the number of presents wrapped, collecting donations, and keeping the booth organized.
TRAINING – In order to provide a consistent quality of wrapping, first-time volunteers attend a training session prior to volunteering. These sessions will be at Tsawwassen Mills. There are five training sessions available to choose from
Sunday Nov 17, 4pm to 6pm
Sunday Nov 24th 4pm to 6pm
Monday Nov 25th 6pm to 8pm
Sunday Dec 1st 4pm to 6pm
Monday Dec 2nd 6pm to 8pm

Once you have completed the Volunteer Training, you will be contacted by Tami to choose their volunteer shifts.

Shift Times are:
• 9am to 1pm
• 1pm to 5pm
• 5pm to 9pm
Sundays Dec 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd
Shift Times are:
• 11 am to 3pm
• 03 pm to 7pm
Dec 2nd to Dec 12th
Shift Times are:
• 12 noon to 3:30pm
• 3:30pm to 7pm
Dec 13 to 24
Shift times are:
• 9am to 1pm
• 1pm to 5pm
• 5pm to 9pm
