Triathlon

Triathlon is sport that accommodates participants who are blind or partially sighted at all levels and ages.  The primary accommodation or adaptation for a para triathlon athlete to compete in a sanctioned event is having a tethered guide for the swimming and running portions of the event. The biking portion requires a tandem bike. For other specific rules and regulations including specific classification requirements, please look at the Triathlon Canada website or the International Triathlon Union website.
